Identifying Services
During the second phase of the design process (Focus), you will review the services your architect can provide and determine which are necessary and which are optional to meet your project goals.

Categories of service that architects provide are listed below. Sometimes, you may discover that too little is known about your project to determine the full extent of services required. If this is the case, ask your architect to provide project definition and other pre-design services first, and decide on remaining services later.

    Project Administration & Management
    Evaluation & Planning
    Design
    Bidding or Negotiation
    Construction Administration
    Facility Administration
